OBEC, short for Overbed Entertainment Center, is a brand new and innovative fully powered tv and multimedia cart loaded with user-friendly features. It distinguishes itself as being the only mount on the market that allows the user to both raise/lower, tilt and physically position the TV over and around other household furniture to provide a range of viewing options not attainable by conventional wall and ceiling mounts or TV unit legs. This allows the user to dial in the perfect viewing angle, even laying flat on your back in bed! 

The unit has space for up to a 43" tv and a wide range of soundbars and safely provides power to all multimedia onboard while the cable kit ensures a tangle-free and clean setup.

The stable omnidirectional wheelbase has legs designed to roll under most bedframes and desks and fit through most doorframes. 

The powered telescopic center column features customizable shelving and provides ample power to most home electronic multimedia players and accessories.  

The innovative horizontal TV arm holds your TV and soundbar securely and provides additional power and USB outlets.

OBEC is a brand new TV mount product that enables you to position your TV like never before.

OBEC is designed to hold modern flatscreen TVs 43" and lower. The minimum VESA (TV rear mounting screw pattern) supported is 100x100mm, and the maximum VESA pattern is 300x200mm. The combined TV and soundbar weight limit is 100lb.

With 2 people, you're able to easily build OBEC on either side of the bed or desk, so you can tackle tight spaces and multiple room layouts.

OBEC does not come with a TV. 

The OBEC Kickstarter package will include: (1) OBEC TV Mount in 3 sections - Wheelbase/Column/TV Arm, (1) Soundbar Mount attachment, (1) 10ft Power cable, (1) Adhesive-backed variety cable routing kit, (1) bedframe safety strap, assembly instructions. 

OBEC was designed for everyone who wants to see their TV in a new, exciting fashion. This  intuitive mount comes with easy-to-use pushbutton switches for the tilt and lift functions. 

After initial assembly, using OBEC is a breeze. Simply push the lightweight frame into place, and lift and tilt using the rocker switches built into the column. You'll have a range of new options and locations for your entire media setup, so get ready to explore multiple previously unavailable TV positioning possibilities!

OBEC has a built in Surge Protector in the column, protecting your valuable entertainment equipment in case of power spikes or failure.

OBEC's low-profile omnidirectional wheelbase is designed to give the center column a low center of gravity. When pushing the unit from any side, you'll feel the stability. The underbed legs reach far under the bed and provide a rock-solid footing for your equipment.

We have also included a bedframe safety strap intended to be drawn tight during use, securing the central column to the bedframe. We recommend use of safety strap at all times when not transporting. We also recommend pushing the OBEC unit away from bed during sleep.

OBEC without a TV weighs 52.5 lb while being remarkably sturdy, thanks to the all aluminum T6061 frame. 

The OBEC unit is designed to be mobile and lightweight. Most users will find the non-skid omnidirectional wheels to glide effortlessly over bare floor and carpet.

Kickstarter is an online crowdfunding platform where creators can raise funds for creative projects from a community of backers.

We've decided to take advantage of Kickstarter's "Make 100" campaign to provide OBEC with access to potential backers, allowing us to raise funds for OBEC and engage with you to keep making it better. This platform also serves as a valuable tool for testing the market interest in OBEC before committing to full-scale production.

After the end of the Kickstarter campaign, we are planning to fabricate, assemble, and ship the OBEC units according to our shipping schedule. We are targeting project completion and shipping within 3 months of successful campaign end.
